Hickory Wood Lodge

Occupying a tranquil parkland location just 10 minutes from Yeovil, Hickory Wood Lodge is full of character and charm and makes an ideal base for visiting the beautiful countryside of Dorset and Somerset.

All our rooms are en-suite and furnished to a high standard, with tea and coffee making facilities, television and DVD. All accommodation includes full English or Continental breakfast.

Range of accommodation

We have rooms to suit all guests’ accommodation requirements. There is one king size room, two doubles, one single and one family room.

The family room provides accommodation for up to 6 children, is provided with colour television and PlayStation 2, and has its own lounge and balcony with views over Halstock golf course. The family room is just £100, plus £15 per child.

Golfing breaks

Hickory Wood Lodge is attached to Halstock Golf Course, a full 18 hole course ideal for beginners and experienced players alike.

All guests at Hickory Lodge have unlimited access to the golf course.

With wonderful food in our Bar and Restaurant, Hickory Lodge is therefore ideal for a short golfing break, with work colleagues, family or friends.

Art and cookery courses

In addition to accommodation we can arrange art, cookery or similar courses, offering fun and learning under the guidance of an experienced tutor.
